My birthday is coming up! And I have pledged this day to Childhope Asia Philippines, a non-profit organization that advocates the cause of street children in the Philippines. Its purpose is to liberate them towards their safety, health, education, and empowerment.

Indochina Experience: Bangkok on a budget, Part 1

The last stop for my Indochina trip was Bangkok, Thailand! So excited to go to there and visit the Thai Grand Palace and be part of something historic such as the mourning for their late King Bhumibol who is very much loved by the Thai people.

From the Mekong office terminal, I took a cab going to Three of a Kind Hostel (3oaK) in Silom. Booked the place via AirBnB – it was a mixed dorm for 8 people. Imagine how anxious and excited I was at the same time, knowing that I’ll be sharing a room with nine other strangers. One more item ticked off my bucket list. read more
